The objective of the Department is to educate undergraduate students in Forest genetics and Plant Physiology and to perform basic research and teach graduate students in Forest genetics, Plant physiology and Plant cell and molecular biology. The Department also informs the public, scientific society, governmental boards and companies about recent advances and developments in the studied research areas.
